Kwok, 60, recently confirmed that daughters **Chantelle, 9, and Charlotte, 7**, are enrolled at **Victoria Shanghai Academy (VSA)**, a private bilingual school offering an International Baccalaureate education. The revelation has drawn attention not only because of the school's reputation, but also because of the significant tuition bill involved. ## Nearly S$62,000 a year for two children According to Hong Kong media reports, the two girls are enrolled in VSA's **Primary Years Programme**, where annual tuition is approximately **HK$191,700 per student**. That works out to about **HK$383,400 a year** for both daughters, or roughly **S$62,000** based on the exchange-rate conversion reported by AsiaOne. The figure covers tuition and does not necessarily represent the total cost of attending the school, as international schools can have additional charges such as application fees, capital levies, transport and other expenses. VSA's published 2026–27 fee range is approximately **HK$191,700 to HK$270,450**, depending on year level. New students without a qualifying debenture may also face a one-off refundable capital levy. ## Why Aaron chose the school Kwok said he had heard about VSA through a friend who had studied there and was impressed by the school's educational approach. He described its teaching philosophy as relatively **liberal**, which appears to have appealed to him and his wife, model and actress **Moka Fang**. The singer also said he does not want to put excessive academic pressure on his daughters. Instead, he wants them to have room to enjoy childhood while still completing their basic education. His approach reflects a broader concern among parents about balancing academic achievement with children's well-being. ## An International Baccalaureate education VSA provides a bilingual **English-Putonghua** education and follows the International Baccalaureate pathway from the Primary Years Programme through the Middle Years Programme and Diploma Programme. The school is located in **Aberdeen, Hong Kong**, and caters to students from Year 1 through Year 12. Its bilingual curriculum combines academic learning with an emphasis on broader personal development, giving students an educational pathway that can lead to universities in Hong Kong and overseas. The school has also recorded strong International Baccalaureate results. In its 2023 results, VSA reported that 32 per cent of students achieved at least 40 points, while the school recorded a 100 per cent IB Diploma pass rate that year. ## Aaron is not the only famous parent connected to VSA The school also has a connection to another member of Hong Kong's famous entertainment world. Kwok said he learned that **Andy Lau's daughter, Hanna**, also attends VSA. The two singers are among Hong Kong's legendary "Four Heavenly Kings" of Cantopop, alongside Jacky Cheung and Leon Lai. Kwok joked that Andy's choice of school was another sign that he had made a good decision. The stars apparently now have something else in common beyond decades of music success: parenting experiences. ## The three daughters Kwok and Fang have three daughters. Chantelle, their eldest, was born in 2017, while Charlotte was born in 2019\. Their youngest daughter, Cheryl, was born in 2025. For now, only the two older girls are attending VSA. Kwok has otherwise tried to keep his children's lives relatively private, particularly when it comes to their education. During a recent appearance, he declined to discuss the details of his daughters' schooling further, saying he wanted them to have a private learning environment. ## Parenting takes centre stage Kwok also revealed that when he occasionally meets Andy Lau and Jacky Cheung, conversations among the veteran stars have increasingly shifted away from show business.
